Phil says six more months of winter. Why is this anual groundhogs day so important to a lot of people? In fact Puxatony students get out of school for this event. We clearly know that this is just a fun thing to do and is not really irrelevent to the weather. There is no way a groundhogs shadow can predict winter weather and how much longer of winter we are going to have, yet this day is nation wide and well known. I think groundhogs day is a funny holiday. I have gone to Puxatony and they have a ton of things about Phil they even have an exibit where you can see the groundhog. There was actually two Puxatony Phil's when i went and they took turns every year. This holiday is so a big deal for the little town Puxatony, i never saw the point in it. A cute groundhog tells you if winter is giong to last six more weeks by if you see his shadow? doesn't really make sense.
