Hugh Hefner's Son

Hugh Hefner's Son Charged with Beating Playmate GF

0228_marston_hefner_EX_01
Hugh Hefner's son Marston Hefner has officially been charged with roughing up his Playmate girlfriend ... and now faces over a year in jail -- this according to the Pasadena City Attorney.

TMZ broke the story ... Marston was arrested earlier this month after allegedly attacking Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair inside the couple's Pasadena apartment.

A rep for the Pasadena City Attorney's office tells us, Marston was charged yesterday with one count of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

We're told Marston has also been charged with vandalism -- after he allegedly damaged Claire's lap top during the heated argument.

If convicted on both counts, Marston faces a year-and-a-half behind bars.

After reading this story and many more similar to this, along with seeing these things everyday on the news.  Is domestic violence and  women getting beaten by their boyfriends and husbands becoming more and more common in today's society?  We see it all the time now, we all know someone who has been through it, going through it, or is trying to get out of it.  We see it on the news, we see it down the street, we hear about it through people, and we watch stories about it on channels 100% focused on crimes such as Identity Discover (ID).  We see it happening everywhere, is it starting to become more socially accepted becomes another question when a celebrity is only sentenced to a year in prison for assaulting his girlfriend and vandalizing her person items. This sentence seems way too short for someone who has committed such crimes and is destine to repeat the offense. Stories and headlines such as these seem to be so overlooked these days and hardly surprising.  It is scary to think that this is what our country and society is coming to.  Children are often exposed to violent behaviors like this with their parents or family members, making them more prone to violence when they are older.  Another question is how does Hugh feel about this? Being his son this is a complete embarrassment in my opinion.  For such a wealthy man who has always seemed calm and easy going to have a son who has such a violent behavior with women.  I would love to see a fallow up on this article on his opinion to this.

Adele's Middle Finger

Adele shoots middle finger at Brit Awards

Adele may turn flipping the middle finger into a new trend.Following M.I.A.'s Super Bowl gesture, the British singer shot the bird Tuesday night at London's Brit Awards. She was making her acceptance speech after being given the best-album award, when host James Corden cut her off to introduce the pop band Blur.
The crowd booed, and up went Adele's hand.
"I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans," she said, according to the BBC. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me."
Backstage, she added, "I was about to thank the British public for all their support but they cut me off. So thank you very much for all your support. It's amazing."
ITV, which aired the show, later issued a statement about the incident, saying: "The Brits is a live event. Unfortunately the program was over-running and we had to move on. We would like to apologize to Adele for the interruption."
The wasn't the only thing about Adele that got people buzzing. Bling on her left had prompted engagement rumors for the singer, who kissed and cuddled with boyfriend Simon Konecki throughout the ceremony.

Adele flipping the middle finger at the Brit Awards.  Being cut off before she could finish her thank you's Adele got cut off and flipped off the suits at the Brit Awards.  She says she was offended that they wouldn't let her finished.  If i were her i think i would feel offended too and annoyed that i couldn't finish my thank you's after receiving an amazing award. But was this out of line it is hard to say.  Some people will see this and say what is the world coming to? just inappropriate actions happening constantly.  Or perhaps is she simply defending herself and sticking up for herself, having more nerve then anyone else who gets cut off at the Brit Awards or Grammys.  It is hard to say, i do not sway either way with this.  I believe this was perhaps an unnecessary act but if we put ourselves in her shoes would we have done the same? hard to say.  Flipping the middle finger out of disgust because of the ignorance of the Brit Suits not letting her finish her thank you's seems to be acceptable to the media, nothing that bad was said or written about her and doing this act maybe because this women has earned so much respect by people that she can do such an act and not get judged so harshly for it.

Biggest Loser

'Biggest Loser' Contestants Throw Weight Around, Threaten to Quit Show

0221_loser2_EXC

There's a big, fat problem on the set of "Biggest Loser" -- TMZ has learned nearly all of the remaining contestants have walked off the show and are threatening to quit after learning about a secret "twist" that could seriously affect their shot at the $250,000 grand prize.

Multiple sources connected with the show tell us ... the mutiny took place this week ... when the losers got word that producers were considering bringing back previous contestants to compete for the grand prize.

We're told most of the current contestants were pissed -- feeling it was unfair that prior losers would get a second bite at the apple ... so they banded together and decided to protest by walking off the show in the middle of shooting an episode.

Sources tell us ... show honchos have shut down production for at least a week while they figure out how to handle the situation.

We've reached out to "Loser" and NBC for comment -- so far, no response.

I found this article incredibly interesting.  I have watched the biggest loser in my past and i was surprised to read this.  The contestants on the biggest loser are mad that previous contestants might be coming back to compete on the show giving them less of a chance at 250000 dollars. Is this fair? considering the previous contestants have lost just as much weight and worked just as hard in the luxury of their own homes when they were voted off, or is that completely out of line for the producers to do.  It also brings the question are people on this show to lose weight and become healthier or are they there for the money, perhaps both, but whats more important? I feel like i can relate to both sides with this.  It is unfair in many ways and i can see how they would be very upset, but perhaps they are losing sight of the biggest reward they are taking away from this show which is a much healthier weight and life for themselves.  I find this show incredible these people work so hard to lose so much weight and change their lives and i completely lose sight of the competition end of it and i enjoy seeing people just completely change their lives and weight.  I am curious to see what the outcome is to this problem.

Teen Mom Attacked

"Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer was brutally attacked by 3 women outside of a movie theater in West Virginia this weekend ... multiple sources tell TMZ.

19-year-old Leah is telling friends and family ... she had just left the theater with her fiance Sunday night when an older woman began following her and calling her names.

We're told Leah insists she tried to tell the woman to leave her alone ... when 2 other girls appeared out of nowhere and the three chicks opened a can of whoopass all over Leah's face.

Sources say Leah's fiance, and a security guard, managed to pull the three women off the MTV star ... and got out of the area.

TMZ obtained a photo of Leah's face following the brawl ... which shows a swollen cheek and redness on her neck and chest.

We're told Leah did not recognize any of her attackers ... but Leah's mother has since gone to Twitter in an effort to try and identify the assailants.

Sources say Leah plans to follow up with police later today to file a report.

Stay tuned ...

Is teen mom becoming a problem with teen girls today? For this tv show to be upsetting girls to the point they commit assault on a teen mom currently on the show what is that saying about MTV and Teen Mom.  Is MTV becoming too much of a influence of teens.  Is Teen Mom effecting the safety of the girls on the show? taking away all of their privacy.  These teen moms are not yet eighteen, should it be legal for MTV to create a show filming their lives as teens or is this an invasion and now possibly a safety issue.  This show is good for providing a example of what it is like to be a teen mom, but is it too much? has media gone too far? This brutal attack might say so.  Leak says she did not recognize any of the attackers, chances are they were girls who watched her show and didn't like her.  Taunting seems to be almost something she is use to, is this show hurting teen moms? It is very possible.  This should possibly be looked into by the media.

Chris Brown & Rihanna

Chris Brown Don't Tell ANYONE I Was at Rihanna's Birthday

Chris Brown was so paranoid about keeping his attendance at Rihanna's birthday party a big fat secret -- he actually tried to FORCE partygoers to sign confidentiality agreements ... TMZ has learned.

Sources tell us, Chris refused to enter the private party Monday night at the famous Hearst Mansion in Beverly Hills until everyone signed an NDA -- sending his henchmen in beforehand to gather every partygoer's signature.

We're told although they didn't get EVERYONE to sign -- Chris eventually walked in ... and spent a huge chunk of the night nuzzling up against Rihanna.

According to sources, the two got real intimate -- sitting next to each other, talking, and holding hands ... all perfectly legal ever since the restraining order was lifted.

As for the rest of the party -- we're told it was jam-packed with celebs including Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Chris Martin (no Gwyneth). Chris Brown and Rihanna

After reading this article it definitely brings many questions.  It's been a few years since Chris Brown was found guilty for beating Rihanna and Hospitalizing her. He is still on parole for his action in the brutal beating of his once was girlfriend.  He also recently got off the restraining order with Rihanna.  Why are they even communicating on good terms let alone why is Rihanna inviting him to her birthday party?  Who approached who first? We will never know the details about this situation and i am sure the media doesn't have the exact details.  This event brings questions to whose idea it was to get back together or what exactly happened that night Rihanna was brutally attacked and hospitalized.  How could someone ever forgive the love of their life for doing such a horrible thing to them?  In my opinion it is easy to judge knowing what we know based on the media coverage and stories we are told, but perhaps is there more to the story then we know? or is Rihanna simply an idiot for getting back with a guy whose reputation is ruined and who did the most outrageous thing to her.

Lagerfeld's "too fat" comment to Adele

Adele Addresses Her Weight, Karl Lagerfeld Apologizes

'I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that,' Grammy nominee says following Lagerfeld's controversial 'too fat' comment.

"I'd lose weight if I was an actress and had to play a role where you're supposed to be 40 pounds lighter, but weight has nothing to do with my career. Even when I was signing [a contract], most of the industry knew if anyone ever dared say [lose weight] to me, they wouldn't be working with me."

Lagerfeld says : "I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer. Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article, it changes the meaning of the thought. What I said was in relation to Lana Del Rey and the sentence has since been taken out of context from how it was originally published," he said. "I actually prefer Adele, she is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her. I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off. I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can't wait for her next CD."

I believe this statement was completely out of line.  Do celebrities have to be skinny? I agree with Adele's quote saying if she had to lose weight or be skinny for her career she would, but her singing and her weight have nothing to do with one another.  I think what Lagerfeld said was completely out of line and the apology and quote he said above afterwards is a suck up remark because he got hit by the media really hard for saying such an ignorant thing.  I think Adele is a great rule model for young teens and anyone who doesn't fit in the "Super Skinny" category.  She is showing people that weight shouldn't and doesn't have anything to do with being a celebrity or being successful.  Adele has a great voice and is a very successful singer and i think it is outrageous that anyone would make a ignorant comment about her weight. Celebrities are very superficial and judgmental towards each other and i believe some set a very bad rule model for young teens who look up to them.  Weight is becoming a bigger and bigger issue today and eating disorders are growing.  Why is this? It is probably because of the superficiality in the media. I think it is a great thing that Adele is proud of who she is and she realizes her weight has nothing to do with her career and she does not need to change or be skinny because she has a celebrity status.  She sets a great example showing teens that they should be proud of themselves just the way they are.
